Anesthesiology Locum Opportunity in Pennsylvania

Locum Tenens Anesthesiologist - Clinic/ASC Setting (No Call)

Schedule: Consistent weekly schedule:

• Two (2) x 8-hour shifts per week (days flexible, to be determined)
• Two (2) x 12-hour shifts per week (Thursdays and Fridays, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM)

Typical Shift Times: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (8-hour) or 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM (12-hour)

About the Opportunity:

Hospital is seeking a dedicated and reliable Anesthesiologist for ongoing locum coverage. This is a clinic-only (Ambulatory Surgery Center/outpatient) position with a predictable weekly schedule and no on-call responsibilities. You will be providing anesthesia services for a variety of outpatient surgical and procedural cases.

Case Types Include:

• General Surgery
• Urology
• Plastics
• Orthopedics
• OB/GYN
• Podiatry
• Endoscopy

Cases NOT Included:

• Hearts (Cardiothoracic)
• Complex Neurosurgery ("not no heads" assumed to mean basic neurospine or similar may be included, please confirm if specifics are needed)
• Pediatrics

Responsibilities Include:

• Providing anesthesia services for the case types listed above in an outpatient setting.
• Performing pre-anesthesia evaluations.
• Developing and implementing anesthesia care plans.
• Administering and monitoring anesthesia.
• Managing post-anesthesia care in the immediate post-operative period.

Schedule: Consistent weekly schedule as outlined above (2 x 8-hour, 2 x 12-hour).

Work Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM or 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM.

Call Responsibilities: No call coverage required for this clinic-only position.

Minimum Board Certification: Board Certified (BC) in Anesthesiology.

EMR System: Cerner
