Hospitalist Locum Opportunity in Oregon

*There is no ICU management or rounding, strictly floor patients. Lines/vents/intubations are handled by intensivists.

Required clinical activity in the last 24 months (case logs): Applicants for initial appointment must be able to demonstrate provision of inpatient or outpatient services reflective of the scope of privileges requested for at least 80 patients in the past 24 months or demonstrate successful completion of a hospital-affiliated accredited residency, special clinical fellowship, or research in the past 24 months. Experience can be demonstrated in one of the following ways: 

1. Applicants who have just completed a residency shall provide a copy of their residency log and/or documentation from their program director attesting that the applicant meets the above criteria. 
2. Applicants who are not applying directly out of a residency shall provide quality profiles from hospital(s) or clinic(s) where they currently have privileges, showing clinical activity for the last 24 months, including number of procedures performed, as applicable.

Will provider work solo? If not, other providers specialties working with them: Facility is a level 2 trauma center with a full complement of subspecialty support available.

Daily Shift Standard (8hr or 12hr): Night shift is 10 hours.

Schedule: Variable. We offer blocked scheduling so an example could be 7 days on and 7 days off but there is flexibility. It does not have to be 7 days in a row.

Licensed Candidate: Yes, for a January 2026 start date we are requiring for an OR license to be in hand at time of presentation
