Provider will be responsible to field calls during their clinic time which is included in their regular hourly responsibilities.
They will be managing a panel of established patients as well as taking on new patients. The infusion room is in the same suite. They may be asked about treatment perimeters for patients from the APP's or nurses. Expected to respond to any reaction that could occur during treatment and manage anything urgent until the rapid response team can get there.
Provider will field questions from patients as well. Usually daily triage goes to the NP's first then to the physicians.
