Vascular Surgery Locum Opportunity in Ohio

Hospital is looking for a locum Vascular Surgeon to start as soon as possible.

Schedule:

• Open to start date

• This would be a part-time position with us requesting monthly coverage of 1 week/month (7a Monday-7a Monday or 2 weekends per month (7am Friday-7am Monday)

• There is no expectation that this locum would see scheduled patients in clinic but would only cover inpatient and ED consults and call coverage during this time.

• Clinic Call: No

• Inpatient Call: Yes

• Rounding required: Yes

• Called in vs. phone consults: Infrequently

• Call start and end times: 7a-7a 

Procedures:

• This physician would not schedule any elective procedures but would cover any urgent/emergent procedures picked up on call. 

Patients:

• Peds: No

• Types of Cases: Urgent/Emergent vascular cases 

Other:

• Support staff is available to them: OR team

• Sole provider: Covering time off for the employed vascular surgeon

• Reason for additional locum coverage: To provide time off coverage for the employed vascular surgeon

• Case logs required: Yes (Would need the last two years)

Submission Requirements

• OH State license- Required
• Board Certification- Required
• Local providers- highly preferred
• Able to perform all procedures that are listed on the vascular delineation- Required
• Must be able to provide their case logs from the last two years at time of presentation- Required
