Cardiothoracic Surgery Locum Opportunity in Ohio

We are seeking a Board Certified Cardiothoracic Surgeon to provide urgent, short-term weekend call coverage at a facility in Ohio. This targeted assignment is designed to bridge a specific summer weekend gap. The facility offers two flexible coverage configurations to fit the provider's availability, making it an excellent, high-yield weekend option for an Ohio-licensed surgeon.

?Clinical Schedule & Flexible Options

The facility needs one locum provider to cover either of the following shift windows:

• Option A (Full Weekend Block): Friday, July 17 (4:00 PM) – Sunday, July 19 (4:00 PM).
• Option B (Sunday Single Shift): Sunday, July 19 (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM).

Orientation Note: The provider will be required to come on-site slightly earlier in the day on their first scheduled date to complete a brief facility orientation before officially taking over the active call pager.

Scope of Practice

• Duties: High-acuity inpatient rounding, emergency room consults, and emergent surgical call-backs.
• Call Type: Urgent Inpatient/ER Call.

Requirements

• Certification: Board Certified (BC) Only in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
• Licensure: Active Ohio (OH) Medical License or an active, assignment-ready IMLC status.
• Life Support: Active ACLS and BLS certifications.
