Description

We are seeking a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist for a short-term locum tenens assignment in Ohio. This position focuses on medical direction and supervision within a robust hospital surgical department.


?Position Overview

  • Specialty: Anesthesiology
  • Coverage Dates: July 6, 2026 – July 10, 2026 (End date: 07/10/2026)
  • Coverage Type: Clinic Only (No weeknight or weekend call)
  • Shift Times: * First Day Orientation: 6:00 AM start
  • Regular Shifts: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Must be flexible to stay later for add-on cases)
  • Electronic Medical Records (EMR): MediTech


Clinical Responsibilities & Facility Details

  • Supervision Ratio: 4:1 Supervision only (Medically directed)
  • Room Competency: Must be fully prepared and capable of running your own room independently if necessary.
  • Facility Volume: 19 Operating Rooms (OR), 5 Endoscopy Rooms, and 1 Maternity suite.


Requirements & Qualifications

  • Board Status: Board Certified (BC) required
  • Licensure: Active Ohio (OH) medical license or an active Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) license with OH intent.
  • Certifications: Active ACLS, BLS, ATLS, and PALS required.


Credentialing Timeline

  • Process Duration: 90 Days > Note: Given the 90-day credentialing window, immediate submission is required for upcoming openings with this health system.
