Pediatric Hospitalist  Locums Opportunity in Hobbs,NM - `$1800/shift for 24/hr call and $175/hr for callback (after 3 hours gratis).

Locums Pediatric Hospitalist in Hobbs,NM where on-going call coverage is needed. Here are some of the details: 

Start Date: 01/01/2024

Coverage Need/Schedule Details: 

• Inpatient and Outpatient mix
• Temp privileges available with clean file
• Call Shifts 

Candidate Requirements: 

• Must have an active NM licensure
• Minimum Board Status: Board Eligible
• Required Certifications: BLS, PALS, NRP, Stable

Job/Practice Description: 

• Census: 20% Adolescents, 40% peds, 40% Newborns
• 5 admissions per day (3 outpatient, 2 inpatient)
• Number of beds in ICU: 8 
• Provider will not be required to supervise other providers
• Provider will work solo
• EMR: Epic
• Est Credentialing timeframe: 60 days (temp privileges available with clean file 
• Required Procedures:
• Non-invasive vent management
• Vent management (newborns and peds)
• Intubations (newborns and peds)
• Central lines
• UVC and UAC
• Lumbar Puncture
• X-ray interpretation
• EKG INterpretation
• Suturing Minor Lacerations
• Circumcision

Compensation for this opportunity is highly competitive at $1000/shift for 24/hr call with $150/hr for callback (after 3 hours gratis).
