Interventional Cardiology Locum Opportunity in New Mexico

We are seeking a Interventional Cardiologist for a short-term emergency call assignment. This role is focused strictly on hospital-based interventional coverage, including STEMI response and inpatient consults.

Assignment Timeline

• Start Date: March 19, 2026
• End Date: March 21, 2026
• Credentialing: Emergency 7-Day Fast-Track
• Urgency: Critical—Immediate submission required to meet the 7-day privilege window.

Clinical Details & Workflow

• Coverage Type: 24-Hour Call Only
• Scope: Acute Interventional Cardiology. Responsibilities include emergency department consults, inpatient rounding/consults, and emergent cath lab procedures (STEMI coverage).
• Practice Model: Hospital-based call; no outpatient clinic duties.
• EMR: Medhost

Requirements

• Licensure: Active New Mexico (NM) State Medical License is mandatory.
• Life Support: Active ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Availability: Must be able to cover the full duration of the 3-day block.
