Description

Medical direction practice model - no more than 1:4 CRNA oversight. MDs are personally

responsible for regional anesthesia, labor and delivery coverage, and all cardiac cases. Should

be familiar with common regional blocks for orthopedics - adductor, interscalene, popliteal,

supraclavicular. Restricted (C1) call is in house - shifts are 16 hours on the weekdays and 24

hours on the weekends. Unrestricted (C2) call is from home - primarily call back for emergent

cardiac cases.


Schedule/Availability Requirements: Looking for one week, 7 days, coverage per month starting in April 2026. This would initially

include 5-10 hour day shifts and add call coverage once familiar with the facility.

Support Staff: CRNA, OR staff

Reason for Coverage: Physician Retired


Credentialing Information:

Timeframe: 90 days after receiving completed application (Completed Application needs to be turned around in 5 days or less after received from site)

Requirements: Clear records for smoother approval

Other Credentialing Requirements: CV must be in chronological order beginning at Med School, no gaps over 60 days without written explanation, 3 references
