Description

We are seeking a Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physician for a specific weekend night shift block in North Carolina. This assignment offers a solo coverage environment with robust mid-level support.


Critical Requirement: Enrollment Mandatory

NC Medicaid Credentialed

Enrolled in PECOS


Detail Specification

Specialty: Emergency Medicine

Dates of Coverage: "March 21 & March 22, 2026"

Shift Times: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Nights)

Coverage Type: Solo Physician Coverage (No Call)

Location: North Carolina (NC)

Credentialing: Fast-Track (30 Days)


Clinical Environment & Volume

Annual ED Volume: 32,000 visits.

Facility Daily Volume: 90–100 patients total.

Locum Productivity: Expected to see 18–20 patients per 12-hour shift.

Staffing Support: 1 Physician with 2 Mid-levels (Split Coverage).

Inpatient Setting: Open ICU.

Technology: Proficiency in Meditech 6.1 is required.


Requirements & Logistics

Board Status: BC

Licensure: Active North Carolina (NC) Medical License.

Housing: Provided! The physician will stay in hospital-owned apartments.
