We are seeking a Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physician for a brief, targeted night coverage assignment in North Carolina. This position offers a rapid 14-day credentialing turnaround and provided hospital-owned housing, making it an excellent, low-stress option to supplement your August schedule.
?Clinical Details & Target Shifts
All requested shifts are 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) on the following dates:
- Saturday, August 1 & Sunday, August 2
- Monday, August 10 & Tuesday, August 11
Facility Overview & Workload
- Coverage Model: Standard Solo Emergency Room coverage.
- Department Flow: Open ICU setting. The physician works alongside 2 mid-level providers via split-coverage tracking.
- Volume Matrix: * Annual ED Volume: 32,000 patients.
- Total Daily Department Volume: 90–100 patients.
- Individual Workload: The physician typically treats 18–20 patients per 12-hour shift.
- EMR: MediTech 6.1.
Requirements
- Certification: Board Certified (BC) in Emergency Medicine.
- Licensure: Active North Carolina (NC) Medical License or active IMLC assignment eligibility.
- Enrollments: Candidates must be actively credentialed with NC Medicaid and fully enrolled in PECOS to qualify for immediate placement.
