Clinical Environment & Volume
- Solo Coverage: Standard solo ER coverage.
- Patient Volume: 32,000 Annual / ~90–100 Daily.
- Provider Pacing: Physicians typically see 18–20 patients per shift.
- Support: 2 Mid-level providers (split coverage).
- Facility: Open ICU; provider should be comfortable with that setting.
- Lodging: Provided (Hospital-owned apartments).
Critical Requirements
- Administrative: Must be NC Medicaid credentialed and enrolled in PECOS.
- Board Status: Board Certified (BC) required.
- Licensure: Active North Carolina (NC) Medical License.
Credentialing Speed: Rapid 14-day turnaround.
