Clinical Environment & Volume

  • Solo Coverage: Standard solo ER coverage.
  • Patient Volume: 32,000 Annual / ~90–100 Daily.
  • Provider Pacing: Physicians typically see 18–20 patients per shift.
  • Support: 2 Mid-level providers (split coverage).
  • Facility: Open ICU; provider should be comfortable with that setting.
  • Lodging: Provided (Hospital-owned apartments).

Critical Requirements

  • Administrative: Must be NC Medicaid credentialed and enrolled in PECOS.
  • Board Status: Board Certified (BC) required.
  • Licensure: Active North Carolina (NC) Medical License.

Credentialing Speed: Rapid 14-day turnaround.
