We are seeking a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physician for a single-day coverage opportunity in North Carolina. This solo-coverage role is perfect for a local or regional provider, offering a fast-track 14-day credentialing process and hospital-provided housing.

Position Overview

  • Specific Date: Sunday, March 22, 2026
  • Shift Options: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Day) OR 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Night)
  • Coverage Type: No Call (12-hour shift)
  • Credentialing: 14-Day Fast-Track

Clinical Setting & Support

  • Team Structure: Solo Physician coverage supported by 2 Mid-levels (split coverage).
  • Department Volume: 32,000 Annual Volume; 90–100 patients daily.
  • Workload: Typically 18–20 patients per 12-hour shift.
  • Facility Features: Open ICU.
  • EMR: MediTech 6.1.

Candidate Requirements

  • Certification: Board Certified (BC) in Emergency Medicine.
  • Licensure: Active North Carolina (NC) Medical License.
  • Mandatory Enrollment: Must be NC Medicaid credentialed and enrolled in PECOS.
  • Urgency: Due to the 14-day credentialing window, all documentation must be ready for immediate submission.
