General Cardiology Locum Opportunity in North Carolina

• Specialty: Cardiology 
• Start Date: 11/16/2026
• Contract Length: 52 Weeks 
• Shift Details: Days/Nights/Weekend – act as 2nd Call 
• Schedule: Minimum 1 week per month, and 1 weekend per month (as needed for scheduling). Does not need to be consecutive shifts. 
• Monday – Thursday: 8P – 6A (10 hours) 
• Friday: 8P – 7A (11 hours)
• Saturday: 5P – 7A (14 hours)
• Sunday: 5P – 6A (13 hours)

Work Details: 

Amount of coverage needed per month: Minimum 1 week per month, and 1 weekend per month (as needed for scheduling). Does not need to be consecutive shifts.

• Patient population/age: Adult 
• Department description: Cardiology 
• EMR: EPIC 
• Skills required: Consults upon request and E&M services only, no procedures. Read Echo and nuclear studies performed in the hospital. Provides care for patients admitted under Facility. Required to keep a manual log of all charges.

Requirements:

• Board Certification: Board Certification in Cardiology 
• License required: Yes, state of NC 
• DEA: Yes 
• Certifications required: ACLS & BLS
• Minimum experience required: 1 – 2 years 
• Credentialing Timeframe: 60 – 90 days
