Locum Interventional Cardiologist - Cath Lab Coverage

Primarily day shifts covering Cath Lab procedures, with on-call responsibilities for STEMIs and other emergent cath lab procedures occurring during your shift. We are looking for coverage within the dates of June 6th to August 16th, 2025, and can be somewhat flexible to group dates together based on your availability.

About the Opportunity:

Hospital is seeking a dedicated Interventional Cardiologist to provide temporary locum coverage for our busy Cath Lab due to a recent resignation and an upcoming sabbatical. This is a Cath Lab-only role, involving performing 5-10 cases per day and being on call for STEMIs and other emergent procedures that may arise during your scheduled shifts.

Responsibilities Include:

• Performing a range of diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures in a busy lab (5-10 cases per day).
• Providing on-call coverage for STEMIs and other emergent cath lab procedures that occur while you are on shift.
• Collaborating effectively with the Cath Lab team, including nurses and technicians.
• Maintaining accurate and timely patient records in the Cerner EMR system.

Focus: Cath Lab procedures only.

Call Responsibilities: On call for STEMIs and other emergent cath lab procedures during scheduled shifts.

Schedule: Primarily day shifts within the dates of June 6, 2025, to August 16, 2025. We can be somewhat flexible to group dates together. Please indicate your availability.

Minimum Board Certification: Board Eligible (BE) or Board Certified (BC) in Interventional Cardiology.
