Interventional Cardiology Locum Opportunity in Montana

We are seeking an Interventional Cardiologist to provide coverage for a maternity leave in Montana. This engagement is strictly focused on Cath Lab coverage (no general hospital rounding required) and primarily targets weekend blocks through the spring and summer of 2026.

Position Overview

• Start Date: March 18, 2026
• End Date: July 31, 2026 (Potential for fewer dates in July as a permanent hire starts)
• Coverage Type: Cath Lab Only (Interventional)
• Location: Montana

Clinical Volume & Details

• Daily Case Load: 5–10 cases per day (weekends are typically lighter).
• STEMI Volume: 10–15 STEMIs per month.
• Scope: No general hospital floor coverage required; focus is strictly on the lab.
• EMR: Cerner

Specific Dates Needed

• March: 18th (8 AM) – 23rd (6 AM)
• April:
• 1st (6 AM) – 6th (6 AM) [Flexible during the week if weekend is covered]
• 8th & 9th [Can be combined with the following block]
• 14th
• 24th (6 AM) – 27th (6 AM)
• June:
• 11th/12th (6 AM) – 15th (6 AM)
• 17th/18th (6 AM) – 22nd (6 AM)
• July: TBD (Reduced need)

Candidate Requirements

• Certification: Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in Interventional Cardiology.
• Certifications: Active BLS.
• License: Active Montana (MT) Medical License.

Credentialing: 90-day timeline.
