We are seeking a Board Eligible Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon for a low-frequency, highly manageable call coverage assignment in Missouri. This contract offers an exceptional option for a regional or local surgeon looking to pick up steady, low-impact supplemental revenue without disrupting their primary practice or carrying heavy monthly shift burdens.
?Clinical Schedule & Workload Pacing
- Frequency Volume: Extremely low commitment of maximum 2 shifts per month (capped strictly at 10 shifts total per year).
- The Shift: 24-Hour continuous emergency/inpatient beeper call.
- Scope of Practice: Manage pediatric orthopedic consultations and emergency interventions arriving through the Pediatric Emergency Department, alongside acute management for on-floor inpatients (IP).
- Technology: Coordinate clinical tracking, review trauma imaging, and log surgical consult notes via an integrated Epic EMR.
Requirements
- Certification: Board Eligible (BE) in Orthopedic Surgery with specialized pediatric training/experience.
- Licensure: Active Missouri (MO) Medical License or an active, assignment-ready IMLC passport.
- Life Support: Active ATLS, BLS, and PALS certifications are strictly mandatory.
