We are seeking a Board Certified Pulmonologist / Critical Care Physician for immediate, targeted ICU coverage in Missouri. This assignment features a highly structured, 12-hour in-house day shift rotation with absolutely zero overnight call tracking. Due to an aggressive onboarding timeline, the medical staff office is only reviewing candidates who can commit to these precise shift blocks.
??Clinical Schedule & Operations
- Shift Structure: 12-Hour in-house day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM). Complete your shift and clock out with zero pager liability or night callback exposure.
- Rotation Rhythm: Standard operational model runs on a 7-on / 7-off frequency (equating to 1–2 weeks per month).
- Procedural Expectations: Full-spectrum ICU coverage. The incoming intensivist must be independently proficient in all standard critical care procedures, including intubations, arterial lines (A-lines), and central venous lines.
- Technology: Charting, critical orders, and ICU tracking are fully executed within an optimized Epic EMR environment.
Mandatory "Clean File" Presentation Rules
CRITICAL PRIORITY: Because of the exceptionally compressed administrative runway, the facility will instantly reject any candidate who does not present a completely spotless profile.
Submission prerequisites include:
- An active, unrestricted Missouri (MO) Medical License in hand today.
- A completely clean malpractice history and a clear NPDB record.
- Documented, uncompromised availability to anchor both the August and September shift blocks.
Requirements
- Certification: Board Certified (BC) Only in Pulmonary Disease and/or Critical Care Medicine.
- Life Support: Active ATLS certification is mandatory.
