Neurology Physician Locums in New Ulm, MN: $250 hourly


Job Description:


Locums Neurology in New Ulm, MN INpatient coverage with no call is needed. Here are some of the details: 

 

Start Date: May 1- Ongoing

Coverage Need/Schedule Details:  Ongoing; until permanent is hired


  •  Monday-Friday: 8a-5p


Submission Requirements:

  • Board Certification: REQUIRED (Neurology)
  • Active MN License or IMLC-REQUIRED
  • DEA: REQUIRED
  • Certifications: EEG, EMG: PREFERED
  • Ability to read EEG and EMG studies: PREFERED


Practice Description:


  • Support staff: LPNs, CMAs, APPs, one other Neurologist, Neurodiagnostic tech, Neuropsychologist, 11 chair infusion therapy suite staffed with RNs and LPNs
  • Amount of coverage needed per month: 2-4 weeks
  • Patients per day: 12-15
  • Patient population/age: Generalist panel; movement disorders including Parkinsons, MS, dementia. Some post-stroke follow-up.
  • Department description (trauma level, etc): Level 4 trauma. Stroke covered by Allina tele-stroke. Infusion center on-site. Botox injections for movement disorder patients; approx. 350 EMGs annually.
  • EMR: Epic
  • Hospital bed size: 25
  • Special procedures: Prefer someone who can read EEG and EMG studies
  • Skills required: Generalist practice
