We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Urologist for a long-term, ongoing locum tenens assignment in Michigan. This position features a highly desirable 2-week on / 2-week off rotation and is completely call-free. The facility boasts advanced on-site surgical technology, including a Da Vinci Xi Robot, and provides dedicated facility lodging with multiple amenities.
??Clinical Schedule & Operations
- Rotation Pattern: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off (Highly flexible block scheduling).
- Work Week: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Absolutely no evening or weekend call.
- Daily Workflow: Typically structured as 4 clinic days and 1 dedicated OR day per week.
- Initial Target 2026 Blocks:
- August Launch: 8/3 (Onsite Orientation), followed by blocks 8/4–8/7 and 8/11–8/14.
- September: 9/14–9/18 and 9/21–9/25.
- October: 10/19–10/23 and 10/26–10/30.
- November: 11/9–11/13 and 11/16–11/20.
- December: 12/7–12/11 and 12/14–12/18.
- 2027 calendar dates will be collaboratively mapped out with the provider.
Requirements
- Certification: Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) through the ABU or AOBS.
- Training: Successful completion of an ACGME or AOA-accredited Urology residency/fellowship.
- Case Logs: CRITICAL: Candidates must document at least 50 urological procedures within the past 12 months (or have completed residency/fellowship within the past 12 months).
- Licensure Trifecta: Active Michigan (MI) Medical License, MI Controlled Substance (CDS), and an active MI DEA must be held at the time of submission.
- Life Support: Active ACLS certification.
