We are seeking a Board Certified Hospitalist for recurring, short-term night call coverage blocks in Michigan. This role is strictly structured around nocturnal call management, making it an excellent opportunity for a physician looking to secure high-yield night revenue without the administrative or rounding burdens of standard daytime hospitalist shifts.
Clinical Schedule & Pacing
- The Shift: 12-Hour Night Call (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM).
- Target Coverage Blocks:
- July Block: 7/16 – 7/20
- Early August Block: 8/6 – 8/10
- Late August Block: 8/28 – 8/31
- Mandatory Orientation: A 1-day, on-site hospital orientation is required on July 15th at 8:30 AM prior to launching the first clinical block.
- Volume Metrics: The hospital features an average night inpatient census of 15, with an average of 2 admissions per night.
- Proximity Protocol: The provider is not required to sit in-house all night but must remain within a strict 20-minute radius of the facility to respond immediately to phone consultations and execute bedside admissions if needed.

- Certification: US Board Certified (BC) Only in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Licensure Trifecta: You must possess an active Michigan (MI) Medical License, an active Michigan Controlled Substance License, and an active Michigan DEA in hand. IMLC routes will not clear in time for the July launch.
- Life Support: Active ACLS and BLS certifications.
