Advanced Gastroenterology Locum Opportunity in Michigan

Facility is recruiting Gastroenterologists in Bay City, Michigan for 24-hour call coverage.  Ongoing need for coverage through 2026

Schedule is Monday 7am - Friday 7pm call. No weekend call. 

Monday-Thursday 7a-7a; Friday 7a-7p

7/27/2026 - M - R 7am - 7am 24hr Coverage - F 7am - 7pm 12hr Coverage - 7/31/2026

9/28/2026 - M - R 7am - 7am 24hr Coverage - F 7am - 7pm 12hr Coverage - /10/2/2026

12/28/2026 - M - R 7am - 7am 24hr Coverage - F 7am - 7pm 12hr Coverage - 1/1/2027

• ERCP is required
• Hospitalist support
• 2 colorectal surgeons in community
• GI clinic location less than half a mile from hospital
• Small town atmosphere with big city amenities, waterfront

ALL REQUIREMENTS MUST BE INCLUDED IN SUBMISSION TO AVOID REDIRECTION: 

• MI license: [REQUIRED] (will only accept IMLC when dates are 60+ days out with proof of LOQ for IMLC)
• Board certified: [REQUIRED], will not accept BE
• ERCP: [REQUIRED]
• Local Provider - [PREFERRED] - will not cover flights
• DEA: [REQUIRED] at time of start
• No malpractice – [REQUIRED], no exceptions for quick credentialing
• Copy of the NPDB, self-query requires at presentation (Should be pulled within 30 days) [REQUIRED]

Employee Health Requirement

a. Flu vaccine for 24-25 season

b. Covid documentation - If 24-25 booster has not been received a declination is needed

c. TB - 2 step skin test within 12 months or Quantiferon within the last 6 months

d. TB Questionnaire 

e. Hep B - titer with quantifiable numbers or declination 

f. MMR - vaccine series or titers with quantifiable numbers

g. Varicella - vaccine series or titers with quantifiable numbers

h. TDAP - adult vaccine (within the last 10 years)
