This temporary position provides coverage for employee leaves and vacations, offering flexible day shifts of 8, 10, or 12 hours in a Level 1 trauma center. The CRNA will work under supervision, managing adult patients and a limited pediatric population, including general surgery, deep sedation/MAC, neurosurgical cases, ventilation management, and oversight of physician-administered regional anesthesia.
- Deliver anesthesia care for a variety of inpatient surgical procedures, including general surgery, neurosurgical cases, and deep sedation/MAC
- Collaborate closely with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and perioperative staff, including RNs, surgical technologists, and anesthesia technicians
- Provide preoperative assessments and patient education
- Administer anesthetics safely and monitor patients throughout surgical procedures
- Manage ventilation and oversee physician-administered regional anesthesia
- Respond to patient emergencies in coordination with the healthcare team
- Document patient care and anesthesia management accurately in Epic EMR
- Participate in ongoing quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
- Work day shifts only (8, 10, or 12 hours) with no on-call or weekend requirements
Work Experience Required:
- Not accepting new graduate candidates
- Must have current NBCRNA certification and BLS, ACLS, PALS
- Only fully licensed providers eligible; cannot be waiting to obtain state license
Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 90-120 days- Temps have been requested
