Cardiothoracic Surgery Locum Opportunity in Michigan

Hospital is seeking a Physician to join the Cardiothoracic surgery team. Coverage is needed 3 weeks at minimum M-F with night call and no weekends

Job Details:

• Practice setting: Hospital-Based
• Start date: ASAP
• Trauma Level: Level I
• OR Availability: 2 dedicated CV Surgery ORs (daytime)
• EMR: Epic
• Patient Population: Adult
• Average Volume: ~1 case per weekend

????Schedule and Call

• Preferred Schedule: 3+ weeks a month M-F clinic hours and then night call 
• Additional Coverage: NO weekend call 
• Call Ratio: night call only 

Required Procedures:

• Adult Cardiac Surgery, General Thoracic Surgery, CABG, Heart Valve Repair/Replacement, Tube Thoracostomy, Pericardial Window, Thoracotomy (Lung Biopsy, Lung Resection, Pneumonectomy), Thoracotomy Decortication, and Mediastinal Surgery.

*Credentialing Timeframe: ~90 days

Submission Requirements

All must be notated in the name of name clear:

• Board Certified in Cardiothoracic - [REQUIRED]
• Active MI licenses - [REQUIRED] will accept willing to obtain.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification - [REQUIRED]
• Clean Malpractice & License History: [HIGHLY PREFERRED] 
• Copy of the NPDB, self-query requires at presentation (Should be pulled within 30 days) - [REQUIRED]
