Hospital is looking for a Locum Pediatrician/Family Medicine provider to join their team!
Critical Access Hospital
- Practice Setting: Inpatient Nursery
- Reason for Coverage: Retirement of one provider
- Dates of Coverage: flexible, need is 1 weekend per month Friday 7pm-Monday 7am
- Select Rate Type Options: Provider will be ONSITE
- Schedule: Friday 7p-7a and then 7am-7pm& 7pm-7am Sat/Sun
- Patient Population for Required Coverage: Pediatric
- Will Other Hospitalists be Present During Locum's Coverage? There is an adult medicine hospitalist
- Average Number of Patients Per Day - ADMISSIONS: 0.33
- Average Number of Patients Per Day - INPATIENT: 1
- Will the Locum Physician Respond to In-House Codes: if there is a resuscitation post delivery
- Areas of Rounding – What floors? Mother Baby Unit
- Will the Locum be Responsible for Supervising Other Health Care Providers? No
- Documentation System/EMR: Meditech
REQUIRED PROCEDURES/DUTIES:
- Non-Invasive Vent Management (bipap/cpap)
- Intubation (ETT/INT)
- Newborn Resuscitation
- Newborn Care (>2000 gms)
Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 3-months
Submission Requirements
- Board Certified- Pediatrics or Family Practice [REQUIRED]
- Active MA License [PREFERRED]
- NRP [REQUIRED]
