We are seeking a qualified Psychiatrist (or multiple providers working in tandem) for an ongoing locum tenens assignment at a state-designated acute mental health facility in Hazard, Kentucky. This role focuses strictly on inpatient care for individuals with serious mental illnesses, supported by an exceptional on-site team.

- Coverage Type: Inpatient Only (Clinic + Call)
- Schedule: 5 days per week + accompanying call requirements
- Capacity: 50-bed inpatient unit
- Flexibility: Multiple providers will be considered to share or fill this coverage need.
Clinical Setting & Support
- Patient Population: Treating adult acute inpatients presenting with serious mental illnesses (SMI).
- On-Site Team Structure: You will work alongside a highly collaborative team, including an additional on-site Psychiatrist and a very experienced group of Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs).
