- Schedule: 3 days/week is preferred - client is willing to look at 2 providers working alternating shifts, can either be 1 or 2 weeks on/off -
Work Details:
• Support staff: APP support and 3 docs at Hazard
• Amount of coverage needed per month: 3 days/week
• Patients per day: ~15/day, low volume, solo provider

- Locums providers will sit on tumor board
- New vs. follow-up ratio: Approximately 20% new patients / 80% follow-ups.
- Infusion supervision requirements: Standard medical oncology supervision model; no unique or additional supervision requirements beyond typical practice standards.
- Hematology vs. solid tumor mix: Approximately 60% hematology / 40% solid tumor.
- High-acuity patients: The practice does not routinely manage high-acuity cases such as acute leukemias on-site; those are typically referred to tertiary centers.
- APP coverage: one APP on-site daily.
- APP visit scope: APPs primarily assist with follow-ups and supportive care visits; independent follow-ups may occur based on clinic needs and provider comfort.
- Notes and orders: APPs assist with documentation and orders in collaboration with the physician; not physician-only.
- RN/infusion support: Dedicated oncology-trained RNs support infusion services during clinic hours.
