Description

Hospital - Internal Medicine (Gastroenterology) is in search Full Time Physician (MD/DO) providers for Locum Tenens due to New Position.
We are looking for a provider to start 08/03/2026 through 06/01/2027.

Shifts available: (total shifts needed 25) - M - F, 7a - 3p: Outpatient GI only (no call or inpatient rounding)
Privileges available: Full Privileges, Temp Privileges
Other job post notes: Accepting candidates with active KY license or IMLC in hand.

Credentials Accepted: Physician (MD/DO)
Board level: Board Certified or Board Eligible
Boards: Gastroenterology
Certifications: ACLS, BLS
Workload: This position is to do outpatient scopes 5 days per week excluding weekends and holidays. No call. Expectation to do 15 - 18 scopes per day and will review pathology results.
Skills/Procedures: Proficient in endoscopy and colonoscopy. ERCP preferred but not required.
Other Role Notes: This physician will be for outpatient scopes only in a fully functioning endoscopy center.
