Hospital is in search of a Part Time ENT (MD/DO) provider for Locum Tenens due to a, Provider Retiring.
We are looking for a provider to start January 2026 with a 6 month commitment.
we are seeing one locum for provider care for ongoing patient continuity of care.
- Shifts available: 8 hour clinic, with night call M-F, weekend call, followed by 8 hour clinic call ending the following Saturday 830 am.
- Shifts per month: 14
- January 2026 start date, 2 weeks per month, with a 6 month commitment.
- Privileges available: Full Privileges
- Required Skills, Experience, Licensure
- MD/DO- either accepted
- KY or Compact License in hand preferred or date KY license we applied for
- BC/ BE- Otolaryngology
- Fellowship: Otolaryngology
- Epic Experience Preferred
- Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ATLS, DEA Certificate
- Clinic Procedures to include: earwax removal, hearing tests, septoplasty for deviated septums, turbinate reduction, ear tube placement (grommets), endoscopic sinus surgery, tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy, and biopsies of lesions. Laryngoscopy
- More complete procedures may be performed under emergency situations in the Hospital.
- Population: Peds to Geriatric
- Setting: Clinic, hospital call, clinic call
- Schedule: Locum will report to clinic for 8 hours of patient care with new intakes and once established follow up appointment.
- New patient volume per day: 14-15
- Once established daily volume could be 20 patients per day.
- Night call starts when the clinic closes at 4:30 and ends as the Clinic opens at 8:30 am.
- Night call is clinic call and is minimal. Call back to a hospital is rare. Call will also include calls from the hospital during the day in the clinic as well as during the weekend.
- Weekend call between 2 weeks of work is required. The locum may be needed in the OR in the hospital and will require privileges for Hospital.
Clinic Details:-
- Rooms in Clinic: 3 exam rooms, 1 procedure room and 1 combo room- a total of 5.
- Is there OP surgery centers included? Yes in the procedure room.
- Procedures per day: It depends on the patient, based on triage and care needed. (new patients per day is 4-15)
- Clinic location to the hospital:15 minute car ride from the clinic. Any hospital call taken while at the clinic will not result in leaving for the hospital, rather than triggering the caller
- If call- how many calls expected at night: Minimal- usually doesn’t require returning to the clinic/hospital.
- How many calls in a 24 hour period if call only:
- Will Locums be sole provider: no
- Admits & Consults: Yes
- Is there another support start for Locums: Yes- 1 other ENT, with NP on staff at all times
- After hours call: On site Clinic and Hospital during Clinic hours. Call continues overnight for Call triage. Call would rarely results in hospital Call Back
