Hospital is seeking a locum Cardiac Surgery Physician!
Heavy cardiac focus required, thoracic preferred, but not required.
Job Details:
· Practice Setting: Hospital Based
· Schedule: 24hr/7a-7a
· Average Number of Cases Per Day: 1-2
· Annual ER Volume: 30,000
· Number of Operating Rooms: 1 Heart, 1 Hybrid
· Documentation System/EMR: EPIC
· Ancillary Staff: First Assist with Endoscopic Saphenous Vein Harvest experience
· Patient Age Demographic: Adult, Geriatric
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Adult Cardiac Surgery - Required
- General Thoracic Surgery - Preferred
- Congenital Cardiac Surgery
- CABG
- Off-Pump CABG
- Arterial Revascularization (Using Internal Mammary Arteries, Radial Artery and Gastroepiploic Artery)
- Redo Coronary Revascularization (With or Without Heart Valve Surgery)
- Tube Thoracostomy
- Pericardial Window
- Tracheostomy
- Thoracic aortic aneurysms
- Flexible and Rigid Bronchoscopy
- Thoracotomy Lung Biopsy
- Thoracotomy Lung Resections and Pneumonectomy
- Thoracotomy Decortication
- Mediastinal Surgery
- Mediastinotomy and Biopsy
- Surgical “Open" Aneurysm Repair
- Heart Valve Repair/Replacement Surgery
- Mitral Valve Repair
Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days
