Hospital is seeking an Interventional Cardiologist for Weekend Coverage.
Friday 7 am through Sunday ending 7 am Monday
Friday - Physician expected to report onsite- do rounds and patient follow ups, admits as needed.
Needed Dates:
- 12/26/25 7 am-12/29/25 7 am
- 1/2/26 7 am – 1/5/26 7 am
- BC preferred will consider BE
- Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ATLS
Required Experience in:
- Ischemic heart disease (percutaneous coronary intervention (angioplasty), stent placement, coronary thrombectomy)
- They perform interventional procedures such as balloon angioplasty and are skilled in the use of various cutting and laser devices to remove plaque build-up from arteries.
- Patient Population: Acute Care Patients
- OR Blocked
- Setting of Care: Inpatient
- Will Locum be sole provider: They will be the only interventionalist- a General Cardiologist will also be on call
- General Cardio call is not expected of locum
- Is there other support start for Locums: (if so what): General Cardiologist
- Are intensivists on staff 24/7: yes
- Will Locum do Admits: Will admit acute STEMI patients
- EMR: Epic
- Hospital Beds: 250 (ED 80 beds, ICU 10 beds, CCU 10 beds)
- Trauma Level: Level I
- Structural dept/back up (CT Surgery) on staff: No
