We are seeking a Board Certified Radiologist for a recurring monthly onsite assignment in Iowa. This position offers a highly consistent, low-frequency schedule with no weekends or call responsibilities. The role supports a 24/7 hospital, working alongside a robust team of certified techs and ultrasonographers.
Schedule & Workload
- Hours: Mon–Thu (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) | Fri (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM).
- Commitment: Onsite coverage needed 2 to 2.5 days per month.
- Daily Volume: 50–60 cases per day.
- Call/Weekends: None. Clinic only.
Clinical Requirements
The ideal candidate must be proficient in a broad range of diagnostic and light interventional procedures:
- Imaging: Mammography & Breast, MSK, MRI, CT, and General/Pediatric Ultrasound.
- Fluoro Procedures: UGI, Esophagram, Lumbar Puncture, Sniff Tests.
- Interventional: Fluoro-guided steroid injections (Hip/Shoulder) and Dynamic Infant Hip Ultrasound.
- Patient Mix: Primarily Adult/Geriatric with minimal Pediatrics.
Qualifications
- Certification: Board Certified (BC) in Radiology is required.
- Licensure: * Active Iowa (IA) License is HIGHLY preferred.
- IMLC Letter of Qualification (LOQ) will be considered.
- Candidates without an active license or LOQ will not be reviewed at this time.
- EMR: Cerner.
