 Description :Facility  is looking for an Emergency Medicine Physician to fill their Locum need! 

Schedule:

• Open FTE = Open shift coverage
• Shift length: 9- & 12-hour shifts
• On Call: None

Details:

• Inpatient Responsibilities: No
• Outreach: No
• Number of Physicians: 1-2 Physician coverage day hours. 1 Physician coverage night hours.
• Number of Advanced Practice Providers: 1-2
• Supervision of APP(s) expected: Yes
• Clinic Provider Daily Volume: ED Volume average 77 patients per day
• Job Responsibilities: ED Physician coverage
• EMR: EPIC
• Teaching Opportunity: teaching hospital
• Trauma Level 3
• 250 beds
• 33,000 annual visits
• Peak shifts/busiest is during 11a-11p
• Transfer out less than 3% of patients

Submission Requirements

• Ability to get them privileged quickly – no lengthy work histories (cred staff goes back 10 years) - Required at name clear
• Board Certified FP or ABEM - Required at name clear
• Clean background - Required, note at time of name clear
• Active IA License or IMLC - Required
• ACLS & PALS are required through AHA; if ER boarded ACLS and PALS are waived; ATLS required for trauma privileges 
• Availability for July (if active IA license) and/or August (if active IMLC) - Required at time of presentation
