Anesthesiology Locum Opportunity in Iowa

Schedule : 

• Hours: 7a - 3p and 3p-7a. Monday - Friday and weekends.
• 24 hour call shifts with unrestricted call.  30 minute response time required.
• No rounding but can expect call response for emergency surgery and OBGYN. Expect an average of 15 PPD
• Support staff available
• Site will consider IMLC but must have CLEAN history and quick turn around on licensing to allow for temporary privileges. 
• *To support the surgeon/OB who is coming in for a surgery or a delivery
• *Physicians are required to provide supporting notes listed on their timesheet entries to verify Call Back hours (patient contact hours) and Overtime hours submitted and associated with the acceptable occurrences mentioned above.
• *Physicians must document in the timesheet the specific reason for the call back and they should have a description such that the note can be validated if an audit report was generated in an electronic health record.
• *Telephone calls and medical record reviews should not be considered on site call back

• *Physician is not required to be on-site while providing Call Support (this means Market should not be charged for call back hours if a physician decides they want to stay in the hospital, but there is not the need for him/her to be there based on the criteria contained herein)
