Radiation Oncology Locum Opportunity in Florida

We are seeking a Board Certified Radiation Oncologist for a full-time, ongoing assignment at a premier cancer center in Florida. This facility is on the leading edge of technology, offering a sophisticated environment for comprehensive cancer care.

?Assignment Timeline

• Start Date: ASAP
• End Date: Ongoing
• Credentialing: 90-Day Timeline

Schedule & Call Structure

• Daily Schedule: Monday – Friday (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
• Call Coverage: Nightly beeper call and every weekend.
• Call Intensity: Minimal call-back. This is largely a consultative and management role outside of standard hours.

Clinical Setting & Technology

• Site Volume: ~1,600 new cancer cases registered annually.
• Accreditations: ACS Commission on Cancer & ACR Certified.
• Treatment Ecosystem:
• Proton Therapy: Mevion S250-FIT proton accelerator (Go-live Q2 2026).
• Software: Eclipse TPS, ARIA OIS, and MIM software.
• EMR: Cerner

Requirements

• Certification: Board Certified (BC) in Radiation Oncology.
• Licensure: Active Florida (FL) license or IMLC eligibility.
• Desired Experience: Clinical experience in Proton Therapy is highly desirable.
• Life Support: Active ACLS, BLS, and PALS.
