We are seeking a Board-Certified Urologist for focused emergency call coverage in a California Trauma Center. This high-impact, short-term assignment requires a surgeon proficient in managing a wide range of procedural needs in a fast-paced environment.
Position Overview
- Dates: February 23 – February 26, 2026
- Coverage Type: Call Only (Emergency/EROC)
- Location: California (Trauma Center)
- Preference: Providers who are available for future stretches of 7+ days and those with a clean medical malpractice history.
Clinical & System Details
- Scope: Must be comfortable taking Urology emergency call in a trauma setting.
- Skills: Proficiency in a variety of acute urological procedures is required. Robotic training is a plus.
- EMR: Cerner
- Credentialing: 60-day timeline.
Candidate Requirements
- Board Status: Board Certified (BC) in Urology.
- Licensure: Active California (CA) Medical License AND active Fluoroscopy License are required.
- Certification: Active PALS certification.
- Credentialing Status: Preference for candidates already credentialed within the system or those who can provide a comprehensive file for expedited review.
