Psychiatry Locum Opportunity in California

We are seeking a Board-Certified (BC) Psychiatrist for an ongoing, full-time Locum Tenens assignment in California, serving as a Medical Director/Attending with a focus on inpatient care continuity.

Assignment Details

• Specialty: Psychiatry (Medical Director/Attending Role)
• Start Date: December 15, 2025
• End Date: Ongoing
• Coverage Type: Call + Clinic (Inpatient/Rounding Focus)
• Patient Age: Adults only (Age 18+; No Children)
• EMR: Cerner
• License: Active California (CA) License required.
• Credentialing Timeline: 60 Days

Schedule & Commitment

• Weekday Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
• Night Call: No overnight call.
• Weekend Call: One weekend per month required, consisting of rounding only from 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday.
• Commitment Priority: We need a provider who can work Full-Time the whole month to ensure patient care continuity. Candidates able to commit for only one week or every other week will not be accepted.

Requirements

• Certification: Board Certified (BC) is mandatory.
• Experience: Candidates must have a strong inpatient background.
• ?Life Support: BLS required.
