Coverage Dates

We are actively seeking Pediatric Hospitalists for the following urgent coverage needs:

• May 7 – May 11
• May 21 – May 25
• June 4 – June 15
• June 19 – June 21

Position Details

This position involves 24-hour call coverage with no in-house requirement. Providers will manage pediatric and neonatal cases as needed. Certain advanced procedures such as chest tubes or pediatric intubations are typically handled in the Emergency Department by ED physicians or anesthesia, who usually have greater procedural experience.

Central line placement outside the newborn period is not performed. Neonatal central lines such as UVC and UAC may be required in delivery room or neonatal situations.

Licensure & Certification Requirements

• Active California Medical License – Required
• Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 3–5 years of residency)
• NRP – Required
• ACLS – Required
• BLS – Required
• PALS – Required

• Candidates with malpractice issues or unresolved NPDB reports cannot be name-cleared and will be declined.
