Pediatrics Locum Opportunity in California

LOCUM- Pediatrician 

IMPORTANT: PLEASE NOTE CLEAN FILES ARE REQUIRED! We can not privilege someone without a clean file to meet this start date. At this time, we need coverage urgently in order to avoid loss of coverage and patient care. 

JOB DETAILS: 

   - We are looking for 1-2 providers to cover full time Monday- Sunday beeper call. Call will be off-site with a 20 minute response time. It is from 7am-7am. 

   - At this time we will look at any availability given the urgency of the need but need to ensure they are available for at least a week a month. 

   - Start date would be 1/27/2026 pending all privileges are approved. 

   -  Will attend high risk deliveries and round. They MUST come back into the hospital when called to do so. 

   - 32 weeks 

  - Strong support staff 

  - There will be two meetings they will should call in for, one at 8:45am and one at 8:00pm. It is rounds where they discuss important cases to be aware of. Usually is only a 5 minute call.  

  - Birth Center Staff are Stable certified; and 1 Neonatal trained RN in house 24/7; RT trained to support intubations

REQUIRED: 

   -  NRP certified 

   - CA License and CA DEA 

   - Board Certified or truly Board Eligible within 5 years of residency 

   - Stable is preferred not required
