We are seeking a dedicated Pediatrician for a full-time, ongoing outpatient assignment at facility in Apple Valley, California. Since hospital privileges are not required for this role, selected candidates can start immediately once system access is configured. This position also offers a Locum-to-Perm pathway for interested providers.
??Position Overview
- Specialty: Pediatrics
- Coverage Type: Clinic Only (No nights, no weekends, no call)
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (5 days a week, 4 weeks a month)
- Guaranteed Hours: 8 hours per day (Overtime applies after 9 hours per day)
- Daily Workflow: Providers may take their unpaid lunch break flexibly throughout the day.
Practice & Patient Demographic
- Setting: High-demand, outpatient pediatric clinic.
- Patient Volume: Averages 25 patients per day. Due to a high local appointment no-show rate, the clinic intentionally overbooks to maintain a steady daily volume.
- Community Profile: Serving a socioeconomically challenged population in the High Desert demographic.
- Preferred Asset: Bilingual candidates (Spanish-speaking) are a strong plus but not required.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Board Certification: Board Eligible (BE) within 5 years of residency completion.
- Licensure: Active, unrestricted California (CA) medical license and active DEA.
- Certifications: BLS.
- EMR: Proficiency with Epic or robust general EMR experience.
