Pathology Locum Opportunity in California

We are seeking a Board-Certified (BC) Pathologist for a short-term locum tenens opportunity to cover a solo practice.

• Start Date: September 8, 2025
• End Date: September 19, 2025
• Specific Need: A request is open for coverage from September 16-20, 8 hours per day.
• Coverage Type: Clinic + Call
• Schedule: Daily shifts with very rare after-hours call and no weekend call.
• Responsibilities:
• Solo Practice: Grossing is required.
• Daily Volume: 10-15 cases, with a focus on small GI biopsies.
• Case Mix: Notable GYN pathology, approximately one cancer case per week.
• Support & Resources:
• Consulting pathologists are available at a sister hospital about 45 minutes away, with courier service provided.
• Regular tumor boards and breast pretreatment conferences are available for CME.
• Minimum Board Certification: Board Certified (BC)
• Must have CA Fluoroscopy license.
• EMR System: Cerner
