We are seeking a Board-Certified Orthopedic Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for a full-time, six-month locum position starting December 8, 2025. This role requires a combination of clinic, surgical, and call responsibilities.

- Schedule: Generally, shifts are 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., but can vary. Providers may need to round at the hospital before coming to the clinic. On surgery days, a 7 a.m. start time is expected.
- Please note that the privileging timeline will not begin until the RFA and application are turned back in. Typical turn around for RFA is 48-72 hours. Application should be submitted within 5 days.
- Typical privileging timeline is 90 days.
- All specialties require 2 years of current Hospital clinical activity in the specialty.
- Gaps greater than 3 months must be explained.
- Include current number of case logs upon presentation for surgical specialties.
- Call Details: You will be on call five days per month and one weekend approximately every 5-6 weeks.
- Clinic/Surgery + Call: The 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
- Night Call: 5 p.m. - 8 a.m. is billed as night call with no gratis hours.
- Hours & Overtime:
- Guaranteed Hours: 8 per day.
- Overtime applies after 8 hours per day.
- Responsibilities: You will be expected to assist with most orthopedic surgeries.
- Patient Volume: 20-22 patients per shift.
- Required Licensing: Must have an active California (CA) license and a CA DEA.
- Minimum Board Certification: Board Certified (BC)
