Neonatology Locum Opportunity in California

** Opportunity for Coverage Needs for a Neonatologist in the Long Beach, CA area ** Level IV. 

Provider Inhouse shift coverage. Shifts outlined below:

Weekday Shifts

M-F 8am -4pm  (day shift)

M-F 3pm - 9am (night shift)

M-F 24 hour shift (combining the two above)

Weekend Shifts:

Friday at 3pm - Saturday @ 9am

Sat @ 9am - Sun @ 9am

Sun @ 9am - Monday @ 9am

•What is the average daily census/case load for the provider?  14 babies

•What is the coverage model (how many neonatologists, APPs, fellows, etc. are on during the day and overnight)? 24 hour- in house call; community hospital- no NP, PA, Neo only allowed to intubate

•Does the provider need to be ECMO-certified or manage ECMO patients? No, we do not provide ECMO

•Are there any specific procedural requirements? Working on verifying with medstaff regarding procedural requirement- if interested for moderate sedation, there is an exam to take

• Board Certified in Neonatology - [REQUIRED]

• CA Active License [REQUIRED] not accepting IMLC

• Seeking candidate with recent caseloads/experience in the past 12 months [REQUIRED]

• Must have Level 4 NICU experience [REQUIRED]

• Must have completed Prescreen Questionnaire [REQUIRED]

• CV must be in MM/YYYY format with all gaps explained [REQUIRED]
