Internal Medicine / Family Practice Locum Opportunity in California

We are urgently seeking a Board-Certified (BC) or Board-Eligible (BE) Family Medicine Physician for a full-time, ongoing Locum Tenens opportunity with a highly desirable No Call schedule.

Assignment Details

Specialty: Family Medicine (FM)

Start Date: ASAP

End Date: Ongoing

Coverage Type: Clinic

Call Requirement: No Call

Schedule and Volume

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (10-hour shifts are also possible).

Patient Volume: 18 PPD (Patients Per Day) minimum.

Patient Population: A mix of Pediatrics and Adults.

Scope of Practice: Includes general Family Medicine, with some Chronic Pain Management.

Candidate Requirements & Logistics

Certification/Degree: MD or DO. Must be BC or BE (BE considered if residency completion was 5 years ago or less).

DEA: An Active DEA is required before the start date.

Chart Closure: Must ensure chart closure within 72 hours.

Credentialing: Takes 30-60 days (six weeks is common with timely submission).

Hiring Decision: Typically made within 7-14 days.

Assignment Termination: HCO and Vendor agree to a 30-day notice for ending all assignments.
