??Position Highlights & Requirements
We are seeking a Board Certified Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) for ongoing outpatient coverage in California.
- Licensure: Active California (CA) State Medical License and active DEA required prior to start.
- Certifications: Board Certified (BC) in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine; BLS.
- EHR System: EPIC.
- Medi-Cal Enrollment: Preferred to be ORP (Ordering, Referring, Prescribing) enrolled in Medi-Cal, or willing to enroll during credentialing.
- Work-Life Balance: Predictable Monday through Friday daytime schedule with zero night or weekend call responsibilities. Charting is expected to be closed within 72 hours.
- Quick Decision Window: Fast-turnaround review process with hiring decisions typically made within 7–14 days. Standard 30-day notice requirement for ending assignments.
Clinical Scope & Workload
- Patient Volume: Expected volume of 18 patients per day (PPD).
- Patient Demographic: Mixed patient population (Adults & Pediatrics; Family Medicine trained physicians welcomed).
- Clinical Mix: Standard outpatient primary care, including routine management of chronic pain.
- CV Formatting Requirement: Candidate CVs must include specific month and year for all work experience, with all employment gaps fully accounted for.
Required Credentialing Immunizations
To ensure a smooth onboarding process, candidates must provide documentation for the following prior to start:
- Flu Vaccine: (Most recent season)
- TB Status / X-Ray: Results must be dated within 90 days prior to start date
- MMR: Positive Titer or complete immunization series
- Hepatitis B: Positive Titer or complete immunization series
- Varicella Zoster: Positive Titer or complete immunization series
- Tdap: Documentation within the past 10 years
