We are seeking a Fellowship-Trained, Board Certified Physician to cover a high-yield, 6-day block over a long weekend in August. This assignment demands a highly skilled specialist capable of managing a 209-bed facility's inpatient rounding, daytime clinics, and 24-hour emergency call. Partial availability will not be considered; the provider must work the entire stretch.
?Clinical Schedule & Workload Pacing
- Daytime Shifts: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
- 24-Hour Beeper Call: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Call runs 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM concurrent with and following clinic shifts.
- Call Scope & Volume: Covers both assigned (established) and unassigned emergency patients.
- Response Time: Mandatory 15–20 minute response window.
- Patient Encounters: Averages 0–3 patients seen per call shift.
- Rounding & Admissions: Daily rounding is required for both assigned and unassigned patients. Hospital admissions are required.
- Patient Demographics: Adult Medicine (18 years and older).

- Bed Capacity: 209-bed facility.
- Certifications: Stroke Certified Hospital.
- Trauma & Pediatrics: No designated Trauma Level; No Pediatric Level (Adult Care focused).
- Support Structure: Supported by a dedicated team of on-site in-office clinical and administrative staff.
Requirements
- Certification: Board Certified (BC) ONLY with mandatory Fellowship Training.
- Case Logs: ?? CRITICAL: Provider must be able to document at least 50 active case logs within the past 24 months to clear medical staff reviews.
- Licensure: Active State Medical License required in hand. IMLC (Compact) licenses will NOT be considered.
- Life Support: Active BLS, ACLS, ATLS, ABLS, and PALS certifications are all strictly required.
