Psychiatry Locum Opportunity in Alabama

We are seeking a Board Eligible Psychiatrist for a focused, 3-week summer assignment in Alabama. This role provides an excellent opportunity to bridge a short-term coverage gap in an established behavioral health service line. Due to an accelerated 21-day credentialing process, this position is ideal for an Alabama-licensed provider seeking immediate, high-yield summer block work.

?Clinical Details & Schedule

• Assignment Windows: July 6 through July 24, 2026.
• Format: Combination of routine daytime clinical rounding/consultations and alternating call duties.
• Scope of Practice: General adult psychiatric care, including admissions, evaluations, and medication management.
• EMR: MediTech.

Requirements

• Licensure: Active Alabama (AL) Medical License.
• Certification: Board Eligible (BE) in Psychiatry.
• Onboarding Speed: Ability to supply all necessary background documents immediately to accommodate the quick turnaround.
