Psychiatry Locum Opportunity in Alaska

We are seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Psychiatrist for an ongoing inpatient opportunity in Alaska. This role is ideal for providers who enjoy block scheduling and the flexibility of extended time off.

Schedule & Assignment Details

• Rotation Options: 7 days on / 7 days off OR 14 days on / 14 days off
• Coverage Type: Combined Clinic + Call
• Setting: Inpatient Behavioral Health Unit

Clinical Scope & Volume

• Patient Census: Average of 12 encounters per shift.
• Support Staff: Robust team including RNs, Behavioral Health Techs, and NP/PA support.
• Call Requirements: Beeper call with a 30-minute response time.
• EMR: Cerner

Requirements

• Licensure: Active Alaska (AK) State License is required. (Only AK-licensed providers will be considered at this time).
• Certification: Board Eligible (BE) or Board Certified (BC) with active BLS.
• Credentialing: 60-day timeline.
