Emergency Medicine Locum Opportunity in Alaska

SCHEDULE 

• Coverage Type: Inpatient 

• Schedule Type: Clinic & Call 

• Call Type: Overnight Beeper Call 

• Dates of Need: July 16th- August 10th and August 19-28th, October shifts also probable 

• Shift Times: 10 hours 8a-6p, night call. ~4 10 hour shifts per week. 

• Provider Min # Shifts Required: We need a provider who can cover as much as possible • Guaranteed Hours per Day: 10 

CREDENTIALING • License: Active or IMLC 

• DEA Required: Yes 

• Boards: BC only - our preference would be for providers Board Certified Family Practice, with rural health experience ( ED, Hospitalist, OB) experience.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS: Hospital is entering a limited window of time that we will be needing extra Provider support for our Critical Access Hospital. We are a small rural hospital, and cover broad scope but transfer patients out as necessary. The Providers would need to be willing and able to do ER, Outpatient/Primary Care, OB/C-Sections if needed in emergency. MSO will assess files and see how quickly they are able to issue privs- this is a high acuity need so all hands are on deck to help with coverage.
