Emergency Medicine Locum Opportunity in West Virginia

Start Date: 2/1/26

Contract Length: 6 months possibly longer

Shift Details: 12 or 24 hour shifts

Schedule: 10-12 shifts per month

Work Details:  

• Support staff: RN and other specialty docs
• Amount of coverage needed per month: 10 -12 shifts per month 
• Patients per day: Annual volume 5500 
• Patient population/age: all ages
• Department description: Critical Access Hospital
• EMR: CPSI
• Hospital bed size: 25 bed hospital; 5 bed ED
• Special procedures:  
• Skills required:  

Practice Setting:  

• Hospital 

Requirements: 

• Board Certification: required - ABEM or ABFM/IM accepted. If FM/IM they must have extensive EM experience.
• State license required: required
• DEA: required 

Certifications preferred:   

• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS,   
• Minimum experience required: 2 years 
• Credentialing Timeframe: 45-60 days
• Willing To License?: YES (IMLC only)
